4 DNA Testing works in collaboration with a Maltese Laboratory called Synergene Biotechnology Group and also an American Laboratory called Genetic Testing Laboratory.
Synergene Biotechnology Group is a biotechnology company which employs a team of highly-skilled research scientists with experience in genetics, genomics and molecular biology. All work is carried out using the latest DNA capillary sequencing equipment and technology. It is an ISO 17025 accredited DNA Testing laboratory specializing in DNA testing.
This Genetic Test Laboratory performs DNA human identity tests using the most advanced technology and discriminating tests available. They are accredited by the AABB (which previously stood for the American Association of Blood Banks) as a Parentage Testing Laboratory and as such, all accredited parentage paternity tests are performed according to AABB standards. All DNA tests are supervised and results reviewed by Ph. D. scientists.
Accredited laboratories have passed a vigorous review and inspection of their testing processes and laboratory to insure that tests are being done accurately and thoroughly. Accredited laboratories also participate in proficiency tests and are re-inspected annually.
The Informational Home Test does not require proof of identity and is therefore not an AABB accredited test. The Court-Admissible Test, however, is an accredited test and comes with full instructions on the duties of the witness and what qualifies as proof of identity.
