4 DNA Testing - Sibling Studies
This type of test determines the statistical probability of whether siblings (brothers and sisters) share the same two parents or not. The cost of the service includes two siblings, but you may add more as needed; for instance a third sibling.
The recommended method to determine whether individuals are true biological siblings is to test their parents.
Including one common parent greatly increases the accuracy of this type of analysis and is recommended if at all possible.

Delivery
- The typical response time for the lab to complete the results is 2 - 3 weeks, depending on the test, from the day the lab receives your samples. Results can be delayed for many reasons. Delay explanations.
- For maternity tests, it is better to include a sample from the mother when possible. This normally speeds up the response time and has less chance of retest. The price of the kit is included.
- The kit comes with a prepaid envelope for you to return your samples to the lab.
- A DNA test kit can be posted to different locations at an extra cost.
How to Order
